Any items with a search rank weight greater than 0.5 will be sent to Smartsearch as ranked items so they can be placed higher than other items in search results.

Searching for and adjusting the search rank of managed and custom products are supported for Smartsearch.

Custom brands are supported on Smartsearch.

Smartsearch has two update schedules, a quick one that runs daily to update any new or just recently updated products to the list it uses for searches, and a longer update that updates the entire list and product information, that runs once a week.
