Changing from the Category Menu to the Mega Menu

This quick tutorial will show you how you can change your main navigation menu on your storefront from the Category Menu to the Mega Menu which offers more flexibility.

Note: If you have a custom theme, you may require additional development to use the Mega Menu. Please submit a support request for additional information.

Enable Design Mode

Select content area HeaderMainMenu

Delete the Category Menu content block

From the drop down menu, select the Mega Menu content block and click on Add New Content Block

Once added, Edit the Mega Menu

To quickly populate the menu with your existing categories, click on the Create From Categories option. If you want certain categories hidden, you will want to do so under Store Catalog > Categories prior to clicking on the create from categories option.

You can then rename/delete whatever you want/do not want displayed.
