You can create Mailing Lists in the admin that you can use for sending different materials to multiple recipients. For example if you have a specials for certain products periodically, you can have customers sign up to receive notifications via email.
To edit a Mailing List, click the edit button indicated by the arrow.
- Name - Give your mailing list a title.
- Is Private - If selected, this will hide the mailing list from the storefront.
- New - To add members manually, click this option.
- Import/Export - If you have a list of users you would like to import, use this option. If you would like to export the current list of users, use this option. Also note you can choose to just export the users email address alone
When your customers click on the Mailing Lists option in their my account section, they will be presented with all the available Mailing lists and the option to either Subscribe or Unsubscribe.
