Sales apply to everyone who visits your site. Sales, therefore they are not customer-specific.
How to create a sale
The first thing you will want to do is create a Price Rule to assign to your sale.

The next step will be assigning the rule that you just created to a sale.
First you will click on "New Sale"
- Then you will want to give your sale a name
- Assign the pricing rule that you created to the sale.
- Lastly you will select the start and end date for your sale.
- Remember to save your changes!
